Halifax Academy Class of 2025 Senior Spotlight:
 
Jacob Alan Spence is a National Senior Beta Club member. Additionally, he is a charter member of our newly established Spanish Club. Jacob has also participated in the Monogram Club lettering in varsity football.
 
Jacob was also on the Shooting Team during his time at HA. He has received many accolades while participating on our Shooting Team and was recently a first-place team member in District 3. He also achieved District 3 Overall Individual Champion recognitions during his junior and senior years. Jacob recently competed in the North Carolina Youth Hunter Education Skills Tournament.
 
Outside of school, Jacob volunteers with the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation, frequently taking combat-wounded veterans on fishing and hunting excursions. He has participated in the Boy Scouts of America and earned the Eagle Scout rank. Jacob has worked as a parts associate for Buddy Isles Tire and Automotive for three years. In Jacob’s spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
 
Jacob is the son of Michelle and Tim Spence of Littleton. He plans to attend North Carolina State University in the fall and major in Forest Management with a concentration in Production.
