Dylan Moore's bone marrow biopsey showed 100% DONOR CELLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is still in the hospital but, this is GREAT NEWS!!!!

For directions to AWAY games...click on athletics...then Away Game Directions.  This page is still under construction so watch for additional schools.  If you have "better" directions....please email them to drightmyer@halifaxacademy.org.  Remember ALL directions are leaving from Halifax Academy.

All midget football players, cheerleaders and their parents are invited to attend this year's reception.  It will be held in the cafeteria on Tuesday, December 2nd, at 6:30 pm.  Football players are asked to turn in all equipment at that time.

To cut down on the amount of information shown on our "HOME" page, we have created new TABS.  Please notice that we now have new tabs on the left margin of the webpage named "School Fundraisers", "Community Fundraisers" and FYI.Once you click on these tabs you will find the following:

School Fundraisers - Fundraisers that raise money for Halifax Academy.  This includes any club or organization that does fundraisers for their group.(currently- Belk Tickets, Junior Prom, Senior Beta, Office Depot, Boxtops)

Community Fundraisers - Fundraisers that raise money for someone in need.  These fundraisers may be conducted by a group or club at Halifax Academy or it may be a fundraiser by someone outside school that wants to help someone in need.(currently - Dylan Moore)

FYI- Various information that may be helpful.  Some of this info is on your contract but this is another means of informing the public.

Please keep Dylan Moore and his family in your prayers. His bone marrow transplant was Friday, October 24th.  He has a long road ahead of him. The Santa Shop will be open from December 1st thru December 5th. If you need work hours and would like to help, contact Julia Hockaday at 586-6048. Donations of wrapping paper and tape will be deeply appreciated.
