NOTE TO PARENTS:  Halifax Academy will be closed on May 27 and 28, 2013.  We will be observing Memorial Day on May 27.  We had one extra snow day built into our school calendar, therefore we will take Tuesday off as well.  Also, Awards Day is Monday, June 3, 2013.

MINI IPAD FUNDRAISER: The JV and Varsity Girls' basketball teams are selling raffle tickets for an Apple iPad Mini. The drawing will be held on Monday, June 3, at Awards Day. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased from any team member.  The proceeds will help purchase new uniforms for the Girls' basketball program.

SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS:  Halifax Academy has a summeer Day Camp that is available for HA students in grades pre-k through 7th.  The camp is available for 6 weeks, Monday through Friday, 7:45 am until 5:45 pm.  Please look under Admissions/Online documents/summer camps above for details!

KISS A SENIOR GOODBYE:  Friday, MAY 31, 2013. Cost - $.50 for each candy gram to senior. Parents, Grandparents, Students, Faculty, and Friends . . .  Send a farewell message to your favorite Halifax Academy senior.  A personalized message from you and Hershey Kisses will be delivered to seniors in homeroom on Friday, May 31.  Deadline for ordering a candy gram is Tuesday, May 28 at 1:15 p.m.  See Mrs. Zucker before school, at break, or at lunch to purchase a candy gram.

FIELD DAY:

The lunchroom will be closed on field day - Friday, May 24^th, 2013.The sophomore class will be preparing and selling bag lunches. This is a fundraiser to help pay for the 2013-2014 prom and the sophomore class would really appreciate your support. Students and parents in grades pre-k through 6 need to preorder and the lunches will be delivered to the classrooms. Students in grades 7 through 12 also need to preorder and they can pick up those lunches in the cafeteria. There will be some extra bag lunches available to purchase on field day, but we prefer preorders to ensure that there is enough everyone.Please go to Admissions/Online documents/Field Day for the order form.
