Community Fundraisers
PEOPLE TO PEOPLE STUDENT AMBASSADORS
There are four students at Halifax Academy that have been accepted in to the People to People Student Ambassador Program. The objective of the program is to promote international understanding while building leadership skills among America's youth. Students can earn highschool and college credits because of the many educational elements in the program. Each student must raise a considerable amount of money. Here is a list of the current fundraisers:Clay Rightmyer - Clay is selling cool hoodies that would make excellent Christmas gifts. You may also order one to wear now on these COLD days! Turn around time is only a few days so get yours now. Order forms and pictures of the hoodies are in Mrs. Rightmyer's office. Rachel Love and Jordan Tart - These girls are having a raffle for a snowman, a Hanah Montana Blanket, and a gift basket. 10% goes to Dylan Moore's family. Tickets will be a dollar a piece and can be bought from either Rachel Love or Jordan Tart. The drawing will be December 22. Thanks for your support.DYLAN MOORE
We have beautiful "Praying For Dylan" decals, magnets and yard signs for sale now!! They have a blue background with a rainbow and daffodils. Small magnets are $5.00 each and LARGE ones are $10.00. Proceeds will go to the Dylan Moore Transplant fund. Yard Signs with the same background are now available for $15.00! Please see Debbie Rightmyer to make your purchase.
